PostSubject: Biography Oddball7000   Biography Oddball7000 EmptyThu Jan 15, 2015 4:19 pm

I have been obsessed with motorsport since before i can remember, watching formula one with my dad being an earliest memory. My simracing began on the playstation with Gran Turismo and TOCA taking up much of my school nights. Began racing on forza with forza 3, stuck to offline play for a long time before building cars for lobby racing, with the arrival of forza 4 i ventured into forum racing, starting out in a (now defunct) league called the Forza Sports Car Series. For my first season i ran a 2005 BMW M3 GTR as a privateer and was completely hooked, throughout those early days i joined all the forums i could find at one point racing 5 nights a week across a range of forums. During a continental tires series on a forum i forget the name of me and a friend became disillusioned with how the admin ran things like a dictator and formed our own team with the intention of beating his. Thus Nein Shiza Autosport was born. We began to gather a group of like minded people around us, particularly racing with the guys at Realistic Racing with the odd foray into TORA. After my partner in crime was kicked from Realistic for some reason i forget we setup our own forum with a plan to develop a platform where we could run races with people we liked spending time with. Things began with The Superstars, a series i had been replicating and balancing cars for for over a year, it was a great success and throughout 2013-2014 things went really well with a number of series completed successfully. We have now moved onto the next gen and our first championship on Forza Motorsport 5 (Trans Am) nearing completion and our second to begin shortly (Indy Lights) things are looking good.

Since graduating from university it has been harder and harder to race at the american times and when i secured a 9-6 job 6 days a week as a Editor and Cameraman i decided to look for some races at English local time to drive in while retaining organisational positions at Nein Shiza. So i turned back to TORA, a place where i had enjoyed a few endurance races under the Nein Shiza banner in the past. ExplosiveSam kindly offered up a place on his team and has made me feel very welcome here at Raceart. To be honest with my friends back at Nein Shiza moving their race time back 2 hours it is now not a problem for me to run there, but the hospitality of this team and the fun i had in the first race of the Rogue Motorsport Cup have secured my participation in the rest of this series and, if you'll have me, more in the future here with Raceart.

Great write-up mate. Of course I want to keep you here. You've only done one race with us so far but it's been great to have you, and I really hope you do stay with us this year in future events.

i get about Wink

only been on one site really for the past year and a half and i couldn't find too much from before that unfortunately.

i think i'm most pleased with organising the superstars, which had every car from the real series in balanced and ran for four seasons. looking at ways i could apply it to fm5 currently

I've watched the real V8 Superstars on several occasions and really enjoy it, such a mixture of cars. I tried to run one a couple of years ago, after running a DTM Championship which ran for two years, but it didn't really take off. If ever you got a series like that going over at Nein Shiza on FM5, I'd be happy to take part if I could.

we're just at the end of a trans am thing which was just mustang camaro and challenger, about to be replaced by indy lights which i'm looking forward to.

and i have something else in the pipeworks which i intend to be kind of like a clubby race meeting, run what you brung kind of thing. i'll keep you posted.

and i think the superstars was my favourite real race series, hopefully they'll be back in full in 2015. Unfortunately with fm5 we have nowhere near the full car list to replicated it like i originally did
