Ferrari GTC Trofeo - Introduction

This is a series that we hope to run on Forza Motorsport 5 later in the year. We'll be looking to run it as a TORA Community Race event, but we will still run it ourselves if not able to run it as TCR. The championship will consist of two classes of competition. Each class will race together, but compete seperately as in all multi-class race events. In total, there will be five cars eligible for this series, two in the GTC1 class, and three in the GTC2 class, all of past Ferrari models that are no longer in production by Ferrari.

What will make this series great? Races will be longer events, so pitstop strategy will come into play. Also the faster class will inevitably have to lap the slower cars over this longer race, so could see some great action. In the second class, cars have different strengths and weaknesses so the type of track may prove a deciding factor in which cars and drivers win certain races.
